Since its founding year in 1992, South Jersey Ballet Theatre has been committed to providing an avenue for performance the serious dancer might not otherwise find.

 

Each holiday season, SJBT performs the ever-classic nutcracker for sold-out audiences.  Each spring, SJBT presents a full-length production of beloved ballets such as “Swan Lake,” “Coppelia,” “Cinderella,” “Giselle” and other repertory programs.​

Artistic director, Andrea Duffin, began SJBT with dedication to all dancers in the South Jersey area.  Through open auditions, dancers from diverse dance backgrounds can learn to show their versatility in classical story ballets as well as modern dance.

South Jersey Ballet Theatre is a 501(c)3 not for profit educational organization which provides dancers ages 4-18 from the surrounding area an opportunity to participate in a full length ballet production. Dancers from many different schools participate in this production. We rely on raising funds through ticket sales, local business and corporate donations, fundraising events, SJBT company member's families and friends.
